  2. Use or deal (including storage and disposal) with radioactive material and/or controlled apparatus;
  3. Manufacture of radioactive material and/or controlled apparatus;
  4. Transport of radioactive material; and
  5. Sale of any radioactive material and/or controlled apparatus.

Note:

  • New Applications are licence applications from entities that wish to conduct in radiation activity but are not yet licensed by SHENA.
  • Renewal of Licence Applications are licence applications from existing licensees who wish to renew their existing radiation licences with no modifications to the current licence.

IMPORT / EXPORT AUTHORISATION

Authorisation by SHENA is required to import and export radioactive material and/or controlled apparatus in Brunei Darussalam. This is done by submission of the authorisation form (signed by RPO/licensee) to SHENA along with the required supporting documents. SHENA will email the approved authorisation form to the Licensee, who then submit the approved authorisation form through Brunei Darussalam National Single Window (BDNSW) for permit endorsement.
