11 October 2021

The Safety, Health and Environment National Authority (SHENA), Ministry of Energy (ME), Department of Electrical Services (DES) and Petroleum Authority of Brunei Darussalam (PA), take part in the National Coordination Centre of COVID-19 (N3C19) based at the International Convention Centre (ICC).

The N3C19 was established to ensure effective coordination and strategies integration to help control spread of the COVID-19 in Brunei Darussalam through a Whole-of-Nation approach.

Consisting of government officers and staffs from the 13 Ministries, and supported by stakeholders from the private sectors, the N3C19 exhibits collective efforts from all parties to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic at a national level.

Some activities in the N3C19 includes the coordination of logistics of COVID-19 patients to the available National Isolation Centres (NIC), logistics of food distribution to people affected by the Quarantine Orders, and coordination of care packages and donation to the food distribution centres.

In the N3C19, volunteers in charge work 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week in shifts to ensure that welfare of the people with the necessary support are being taken care of efficiently and effectively. SHENA will continue to provide support to curb the COVID-19 pandemic in Brunei Darussalam. Let us all work together to flatten the curve.
