SAFETY FORUM 2026

The Safety, Health and Environment National Authority (SHENA) is organising the Safety Forum 2026 in conjunction with the World Day for Safety and Health at Work. This global observance, initiated by the International Labour Organization (ILO) in 2003, is commemorated annually on 28 April. Its primary aim is to raise awareness of progressive themes and topics related to occupational safety and health. For 2026, the theme focuses on healthy psychosocial work environments, highlighting the importance of workers’ mental and social well-being. This includes recognising how factors such as work-related stress, organisational support, and effective workplace communication can influence the overall safety, health, and well-being of employees.
