Tuesday, 20 May 2025 – The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Safety, Health and Environment National Authority (SHENA), Yang Mulia Tuan Haji Muhsin bin Haji Ahmad, officiated a workshop organized by the Electrical Safety Committee (ESCOM).

The ESCOM is chaired by SHENA while the Autoriti Elektrik Negara Brunei Darussalam (AENBD) serves as the Deputy Chair.

The workshop, held at the Auditorium, iCentre, Anggerek Desa, brought together 28 key stakeholders from government agencies, academic institutions, consultancy firms and private companies’ representatives, to engage in focused discussions on critical areas of electrical safety.

The workshop concluded with a commitment by ESCOM members to work collaboratively to develop comprehensive guidelines and best practices on electrical safety across all sectors.
