SHENA champions community care through Blood Donation Drive with Ministry of Health

Thursday, 22 May 2025 - The Safety, Health and Environment National Authority (SHENA), in collaboration with the Blood Donation Centre, Ministry of Health, successfully organised a Blood Donation Drive as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment to public health and safety.
Held in conjunction with the World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2025, the initiative was participated by SHENA employees and members of the public in a shared mission to save lives, improve health and increase the national blood supply. The drive saw more than 100 individuals who came forward to donate, demonstrating a strong spirit of solidarity and compassion.
The event served not only as a platform for blood donation, but also as a powerful reminder of how one simple act can make a life-saving difference. It underscored SHENA’s core values of care, safety, and community service, which go beyond its regulatory responsibilities.
