Signing on behalf of SHENA was Yang Mulia Haji Azhar bin Haji Yahya, SHENA Interim Chief Executive Officer, and for UTB was Yang Mulia Datin Paduka Profressor Dr. Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, Vice-Chancellor of UTB.
Yang Mulia Dr Haji Sharul Tazrijiman bin Haji Tajuddin, Dean of School of Computing and Informatics, UTB, in his Welcoming Remarks highlighted that the School of Computing (SCI) under the Creative Computing programme area would benefit a lot from this MoU, especially in the development of creative products providing potential solutions in dealing with real-world issues. “This collaboration will provide opportunities for the development of richer, more meaningful, and significant projects that will test the Expected Learning Outcome of our students. Furthermore, collaborations such as this would permit UTB students to explore entrepreneurial opportunities once they graduate,” he added.
The newly signed MoU declares the intentions of SHENA and UTB to establish a basis of cooperation, collaboration and working relationship in the areas of mutual interest between the two parties. It also serves as a general framework for establishing an academic link and cooperation between the two parties to facilitate detailed discussions for more specific programmes of collaboration that include joint programmes, conferences and seminars, as well as other related areas of mutual agreement.
